Monthly Cafés

Usually held on the second Sunday of every month and run by volunteers from across the site, this is a good place to enjoy a home-made light lunch, a hot or cold drink, and generous slices wonderful home-baked cakes (among other tasty things: our volunteers are a creative bunch) at very reasonable prices (compared to any number of local eateries, anyway).

It's also an opportunity to discover that you do in fact have allotment neighbours. Lots of them. Come and meet them! There is such a wealth of experience, not to mention a variety of approaches to working a plot, to be discovered and shared. And cake.

There are usually some Committee members around as well - come and meet them too. If you have questions or concerns, they will try to help.

EVERYONE WELCOME - AND PLEASE, BRING SOME FOOD IF YOU CAN, OR HELP CLEAR UP AFTERWARDS.
