Support Your Site: Ways You Can Help

No matter how long you've been a plot holder - or even if you're new this year - your help is both necessary and always welcome. So, what might you do.....?

1. Come to the Allotment Cafés (every second Sunday of the month) and enjoy a home-made light lunch, hot and cold drinks, wonderful cakes and bakes, and an opportunity to meet some of your allotment neighbours and Committee members, none of whom bite. At least, not so far.

If you can, donate a home-made dish or some baking - no, you don't have to be Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood or even a Hairy Biker (although we don't discourage hair. Or bikes).

Help to clear away afterwards - you'll make friends for life.

2. Buy an Allotment Calendar - currently available from the Allotment Shop, reduced to £5 each or 2 for £8.

Our new Calendars go on sale at the Annual Show every year, then in the Allotment Shop, and then at our Party in December (yes, we have a party!!).

With beautiful pictures of our site, donated by plot holders (some of whom are professional photographers) and a handy, month-by-month guide to what to do on your plot, these make lovely gifts.

3.   Pay your annual subscription of just £5.00 to become a full member of the GCAA - meaning that you can enter the Annual Show, vote at the Annual General Meeting, continue enjoying the benefits of a well-stocked Allotment Shop offering generous discounts on plot basics, as well as keep all the Community Buildings in good repair, stay on top of the plumbing by repairing leaks and replacing worn taps and ballcocks, get free wood chip on site...AND use a functional Composting Toilet all year round, Every penny raised through subscriptions (and events) goes towards keeping everything (and everyone) going.  â€‹

How to pay!
